Meriwether County Online will be officially online tomorrow, July 1st 2025 – we have started out small but plan on growing a big site. Some of our features include:
- Meriwether County Online News will be exactly what it says a full fledged news source for our county and surrounding areas with Sports, Weather, Happenings, city, county, and school board meetings, local obituaries, classified ads, weekly announcements, etc. – Citizens will be able to write and submit articles to be approved as they feel fit – This will be more based on positive impacts in our county – some rules will be set on this like no calling out of individuals or putting down businesses-type thing. This is a positive news source.
- Meriwether County Online Flyers will be a central location for everyone to submit and show flyers of things going on in our county. Flyers will be listed in alphabetical order. (This will be a free service for dated events, no weekly ads unless cleared with us first)
- Community Calendar—a calendar of events, meetings, etc to keep our citizens informed of dates and times of events.
- A free 3 line text business directory and description for every business in the county – our own little county yellow pages. Submit form coming soon.
- Outdoor adventures section to promote our outdoor activities in the county.
- Weather Page with streaming NOAA weather radio and as funds are made several live streaming videos through the county.
- Free county-wide Church Bulletin and news
- Full Chat forum for all things Meriwether County
- Free county-wide Facebook clone
- School News
- Train cameras and scanner feed.
- A welcome page for New Meriwether County Residents
- And much more including MHS Games from the 60s – 90s that we have the reel to reel and getting up funds to start converting old VHS tapes from the 90s and early 2000s from manchester channel 10

Advertisements will be sold to support these pages—advertisers cards or banners will show up on posts, pages, videos, etc – each Month at the end of the month, there will be a printout out on where and when that ad was used
